Wyndham Offers New Tools for Professional Travel Planners

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is partnering with Cvent to develop wyndhamhotels.com/meetings, a site featuring search capabilities designed to make the RFP process seamless for occasional planners and event organizers. For more experienced planners, Wyndham worked with Cvent to create customized, location-based microsites within the Cvent Supplier Network, the world’s largest venue sourcing database used by more than 100,000 actively sourcing meeting professionals. Professional planners who have their eye on specific destinations can now search by region for Wyndham’s hotels in the U.S. and Canada; Latin America; Europe, Middle East and Africa; and South East Asia. Wyndham also offers third-party planners booking on behalf of other organizations a 10% commission on actualized booking revenue.

Resorts World Las Vegas and Hilton Plan Las Vegas Resort

LAS VEGAS – Resorts World Las Vegas and Hilton have partnered to bring three of Hilton’s premium brands together for the first time when the $4.3 billion integrated resort (rendering pictured) opens in summer 2021. The partnership marks Hilton’s largest multi-brand deal in company history and will include three Hilton premium brands, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, LXR and Conrad, into Resorts World Las Vegas.

The 3,500-room resort will also be part of Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s 18 distinct brands, offering members direct access to instant benefits for guests, including flexible payment options, exclusive member discounts, Digital Key and more.

Guests will have access to the resort’s premier facilities, including a 5,000-capacity state-of-the-art theater which is scalable to host A-list celebrity residencies and corporate events; 350,000 square feet of meeting and convention space; 220,000-square-foot pool complex with seven unique pool experiences; spa and fitness center; extensive collection of casual and fine-dining food and beverage concepts; and more. Caesars Entertainment Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2019 Results

On Dec. 5, 2019, Caesars Entertainment completed the sale of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for $516.3 million. Caesars will continue to manage and operate the Rio for a minimum of two years through a lease agreement, and the property will remain part of the Caesars Rewards network during the term of the lease.

On Jan. 15, 2020, Caesars Entertainment and VICI Properties Inc. announced an agreement to sell Harrah’s Reno for $50 million. The proceeds of the transaction shall be split 75% to VICI and 25% to Caesars. Under the terms of the agreement, Caesars will continue to operate the property upon closing of the transaction, which will allow Caesars to cease operations at the property during the second half of 2020.

During the fourth quarter of 2019, net revenues increased $54 million as compared to 2018 driven by growth in all business verticals, with significant growth in Las Vegas due to healthy consumer demand and a higher cash customer mix. Other U.S. net revenues increased $18 million year over year primarily due to growth in Iowa and Indiana as a result of new sportsbooks and better results in Atlantic City. All Other net revenues decreased $4 million year over year, primarily due to lower gaming volumes in the UK, offset by one-time payments to CIE for early terminations of WSOP licensing agreements. Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group Appoints New President

PROVO, UT – Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group (LDHG), a hotel management company, has appointed Victoria Cramer as president. Outgoing president Joel Sybrowsky will continue in his role as vice-chairman of the board and a significant owner in the company. These leadership changes are effective immediately. Cramer has been the company’s chief operating officer and previously served as vice president of Sales and Revenue Management. “Since her initial hiring, Victoria has brought leadership, enthusiasm, and a wonderful sense of mission to the company,” stated Sybrowsky. “As I looked to reduce my day-to-day responsibilities to focus on DCC, our sister development company, I needed a leader to continue building our culture of improving dignity in our employees, customers, and guests while enhancing the relevant bottom-line for each.”
